Weekends never get here fast enough!!

I'm so thankful it's Thursday! Can I just say how much i'm looking forward to tomorrow being Friday. So far, Jd's doing pretty good during his first week of recovery. We are now on day 3 after his surgery and pain is still to be expected, but he's a lot more alert and somewhat back to normal. He's been getting lots of rest and taking it easy so I'm hoping that his recovery won't take too long for him to be back up and running. As for me, I've been pretty drained. I'm hoping that I'll be able to catch up on sleep this weekend and get some things done here at the house.
