Well, we went to the doctor this monday and looks like JD will have to do a quick procedure on the 15th of Feb. to determine how his J pouch is healing. If everything looks good, we'll get to put in place a surgery date for surgery # 2 to reverse the ostomy.
All in all, there's been slight discomfort from time to time for him but nothing unbearable. The major change has been our bed is too soft and uncomfortable for him to sleep in, so he's been sleeping on the guest bed since it has a firmer mattress. If he's still unable to sleep well after the second surgery, we'll most likely have to replace our bed.
